Meet the team
We are Adinde and Elisa, the founders of Walleaf. Together, we create new and innovative products, designed to help people grow their green thumb.
In 2022, we started Walleaf to help people by providing knowledge, tools, and inspiration for their green journey. We do this by starting from the very beginning: propagating plants. As designers with over 100 plants at home ourselves, we believe that propagating plants is the best way to learn more about nature. By looking after your own tiny plants, you'll start to notice all the magical details that nature holds.
Our mission
Rooting for a greener world
Houseplants are more popular than ever. Even our home was transformed into an urban jungle three years ago; plants and cuttings could be found on every table and in every corner. As a result, friends and family reached out for advice, as their plants didn't thrive as well as ours did. Taking care of plants turned out to be not as easy as it seemed.
With Walleaf, we aim to contribute to a world where people are more connected with nature. We believe that whatever you care for grows, and that applies to our relationship with nature as well. And if your thumb isn't quite as green yet, we're always here with answers to your green questions.

Grow green
The greenest plant is the one you grow yourself. But it's not just about reducing environmental impact; it's about connecting with nature in a meaningful way and understanding how important it is to take care of the world around us.
One way we minimize our impact is by using FSC® certified packaging and reducing material usage when shipping our products. That's why our retail packaging doubles as our shipping package, and you can access the manual online via a QR code printed inside the shipping box itself.

Community impact
All of our Walleaf vases are assembled, packed and shipped at Ferm Werk. A Dutch sheltered workshop where individuals facing barriers to employment work. As our work is different from their usual tasks, the employees really enjoy the variety it brings. From folding boxes to getting orders ready and packaging our products, there’s always something new to do.
Through this work, Ferm Werk isn't just assisting us in assembling and shipping our products. They're helping people find their place in the workforce; the core mission of this sheltered workshop.

And thanks to its clever design, you don't even need to grab your toolbox. Using the sticky magnet, anyone can easily install them. No drilling, no drama; just a simple, straightforward setup that allows you to enjoy our products in no time.
